Elizabeth Hammond

Elizabeth is a British artist who completed her MA in Visual Art at Curtin University of Technology at the end of 2008 and has exhibited as part of several group exhibitions including ‘Constellations: A Large Number of Small Drawings’ at RMIT Gallery in Melbourne. Her first solo exhibition ‘Curiosity of Incongruity’ was held in Perth during October 2011. Elizabeth’s art practice is primarily about drawing and using drawing in order to describe her incongruous ideas about animals and domestic objects.

Elizabeth enjoys teaching and lecturing, and has facilitated artistic learning at Curtin University, Open Universities Australia and Fremantle Arts Centre. She teaches all ages and has led professional development sessions as well as primary and high school classes alongside undergraduate tutorials.
